Reduce the blow-ups
The difference between shooting 99 and 93 is about avoiding a handful of bad mistakes.
That means learning how to escape trouble. How do you safely get out of the rough and find a fairway? How do you always escape a greenside bunker?
Add consistency to your process
Work on a pre-shot routine that includes a check on your setup, your aim, and includes a clear swing thought.
Positively visualise your shot. And if it doesn’t go as planned, put it out of your mind. Don’t dwell on the bad shots.
Don't waste shots
Choose the right club for every shot. That means knowing a good yardage for every club.
When choosing the club, make sure you’re not expecting to hit the perfect shot.
When aiming at greens, take a club that gets you right to the back.
